You work for your local public health department and they have asked you to create a mailer to be sent out to your community describing the state of your health care market.
Research your local community.
Create a two-page mailer and include the following:
Cultural demographics of your community (see pages 70-100 in our course readings)
Age breakdown of your community
How the demographics and age affect your local health care market (impact on health care costs and health care services in your specific community; provide factual evidence from you region).
The major health needs of the community (for example: access to care, coverage options, specialists, health care facility and et cetera).
A comparison of your community to the national health care market (please, provide factual evidence to demonstrate these differences or similarities; list at least 3 different examples to demonstrate these differences or similarities)
Local wellness programs and their effect on health care costs (provide the factual dollar values that demosntrate the impact of wellness progrmas on health care costs).
Also, apart from your mailer, include recommendations for how you might market to your local community (list specific marketing strategies discussed in course readings and apply academic principles).
